Emphasising the constructive and beneficial aspects of the martial arts, our training methods are ideal for burning off calories, developing and enhancing cardiovascular fitness, muscle tone, flexibility and strength.

Wolverhampton Judo Club was formed in 1966 and is ranked as one of the UK’s premier judo clubs. Over the years the club has celebrated many successes and is particularly proud of the many International and National players who have achieved medals status from both Olympic and World Championships.

We are a member of the Five Thunder Chinese Martial Arts Association, which is a collective of martial artists from around the world who wish to promote the Chinese Martial Arts to the highest level.

At BMKA our aim is to promote physical and mental well being. To instill discipline; respect and an awareness of the needs of others, as well as a sense of achievement and of belonging through our training and our allied activities. We welcome beginners of all ages and we have separate classes for children from 7 years upwards, teenagers and adults.

Welcome to K.F.A. or Karate For All, who are a member of the English Karate Federation. All instructors are CRB approved and Safeguarding Children Trained. Our Child Protection Policy is available for any inspection.

Whether you are interested in sport and fitness or self defence within the martial arts, our academy can cater for all of your needs with our Jeet Kune Do, Kickboxing, and Eskrima systems.

He himself was only a junior when he first started in 1988 after finding the calming side of it assisted him in the competions he used to compete in through his karate. Noticing the differance aikido was doing for him he continued to follow even though the reasons have changed over the years. He started aikido due to the interest in martial arts and has continued due to the enjoyment of giving other people the same experience he has had over the years and how it has helped him through his early years.
