We are a nursery based in a large family house within walking distance of Guildford town centre. We look after a small group of approximately sixteen children (babies up to five-year-olds mainly). The business is owned and run by Cambridge law graduate, Mrs. Sandra Easton, who has the coveted Early Years Professional Status (2010).

The new approach will involve Surrey County Council focusing its resources on helping the families most in need of support, which means some of the existing Children’s centres will close and others will become Family centres. Surrey County Council will no longer provide universal services for all families at Family Centres but other organisations, such as Health visitors, may offer these at the centres and at other community venues.

I am an Ofsted registered Childminder, and a mum of two, based in Tadworth, Surrey. I very much enjoy working with children and I strive to provide the most safe, supportive and fun environment possible in which they can thrive whilst encouraging them to learn and develop through organised activities and interaction with other children.

My house is located opposite the beautiful Alexandra Park so it is a central location for plenty of outdoor activities including woodland walks or picnics with the children. The beach is just a 20 minute walk away. I also have a large, secure and enclosed back garden.

I have been a Registered Childminder with Ofsted for eight years, but a parent for fourteen. I offer both Childminding and Babysitting services during the week and at weekends. I also look after children whose parents work shifts. I have three Sons aged Fourteen, Eleven and Three and we live in the beautiful village of Datchet with my Husband.

Nanny Scout is based in Windsor and was established to provide a personal service based on local expertise and knowledge of the area. We provide search and selection services to match permanent, full time, part time and temporary Nannies, Mother's helps and Nanny Housekeepers with families.

As a new parent returning to work, I never realised the anxieties and stress felt when faced with the decision of finding the right childcare for my son and our family. We wanted a homely environment, somewhere with a feeling of warmth, love and care but also filled with fun and development for our little one.

Our vision is to provide an outstanding environment at the heart of the community, where children have the opportunities to develop and grow on life’s learning journey.
