I have acquired a wealth of experience within the music business, with a semi-professional involvement that has spanned over thirty years. I didn’t pick up the electric guitar until I was seventeen, but I was playing in a band within six months due to my obsession and methodical self-teaching.

I offer guitar lessons for children and adults in all styles of guitar playing, from beginners to a high level. I also teach bass guitar, music theory and keyboards including the Trinity Rock & Pop syllabus, see below. Whether you are looking for a guitar teacher to help you learn flamenco, jazz, rock, pop or classical guitar, I can help you. I will support you or your child in learning the techniques and music theory necessary to reach a high level.

The Musiclab Academy is a progressive and innovative music school based in Hertfordshire. We have academies located in Welwyn Garden City and Hoddesdon and we teach drums, guitar, vocals, bass and keyboards to students of all ages and abilities.

Joe teaches students throughout Essex and Hertfordshire, from children as young as six to adults in their 80s. Teaching both groups and one to one, he has experience teaching all abilities and styles, along with relevant skills such as songwriting and music theory.
