Acupuncture is becoming an accepted treatment in hospitals and pain clinics for a wide range of health problems and the National Institute for Care and Health Excellence (NICE) recommends considering acupuncture as a treatment option for persistant lower back pain, chronic tension-type headaches and migraines.
