7H Chartered Surveyors is owned and operated by Principal Surveyor Alec Roxburgh. Alec has a wide range of experience in Building Surveying across many disciplines and is a fully qualified Chartered Surveyor under the governing body of RICS. The RICS regulates all aspects of a Chartered Surveyor’s business to ensure high standards are continually maintained by its members. Regulation includes training, ethics, professional indemnity insurance and business skills. Chartered Building Surveyors must complete Continuous Professional Development (CPD) each year to keep their skills up to date. Alec studied at South Bank University in the mid 1990’s and started his career working for housing trusts and the social housing sector across London. Returning to Sussex he extended his knowledge in this field working for a practice in Uckfield.
