We have employed Alex for a whole variety of work over close on two years. This included both internal and external decorating some of which required considerable preparation to deal with poor plaster work including old ceiling moldings which were of historical value. Repairs were also necessary to rotten timber work which had to be cutout and replaced with new shaped pieces taking care to undertake preventative measures where new pieces had to be put in place. Internal decorations required wallpaper removal and walls and ceilings to be prepared,papered with lining paper and painted. All woodwork had to be rubbed down and undercoated and top painted. Alex also hung patterned wallpaper requiring considerable skill. Alex was always willing to undertake the most challenging jobs and to do many little ancillary items of work always without complaint. He took great care to protect items of furniture and clean throughout on completion. We cannot recommend him highly enough.
