AIR can provide a unique response to problem-solving based on discussion at all stages of design development with interactive workshops involving other specialists as necessary. We offer access to building systems and material banks with samples of materials and specifications. Sustainable design begins with the first site analysis to assess function, orientation, space, light, lifecycles and the use of cheap local materials (where possible) to produce low energy solutions. Access exists for collaboration with specialists in materials and craft-based systems such as timber and glass. AIR is a member of the Association for energy conscious building.
