We are based in Cudworth, on the outskirts of Barnsley and are proud to service our long-standing, predominantly local client base. This includes a broad range of companies, partnerships and individuals, whose affairs provide us with practical knowledge across many different business sectors. Neil has over 20 years experience of working as an accountant, with the majority of his working life having been spent at Angus Nordon & Co. He is therefore a familiar face and trusted pair of hands to our existing clients. Outside of the office, Neil plays for Kexborough Cricket Club, is a keen skier and enjoys quiz nights at his local. He is also a life-long Leeds United supporter. Carrie has been providing tax advice to individuals and businesses in South Yorkshire for the last 12 years. She has worked for various firms in Barnsley and Sheffield and joined the practice 2 years ago. In her spare time, Carrie enjoys walking with her 4 dogs and watching the mighty Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.

The firm was founded in around the 1940s by Angus Nordon himself. He was succeeded by the sadly now late Albert Adie and, in turn, he sold the business to Peter Swift in the early 1990s. Peter has recently taken the decision to retire and has now passed over the reins to Neil Hinchliffe and Carrie Payne.
