After graduating from university I started working life as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). I had already gained experience of the job by spending my Year Abroad working as a Foreign Language Assistant in the Saarland, Germany. Several years later I felt ready for a new challenge, and started taking on translation projects from local clients, leading me to the idea of setting up my own agency. After two years I started a translation agency of my own and steadily built up a client base. As the only multi-language translation agency in the town, we have successfully served numerous businesses based at the Port of Dover, and elsewhere. We continue to build and diversify our client base and range of texts translated.
Andrew Stucken established his translation business in Dover in 1997 and Applied Translations has been serving a broad base of customers ever since. We have been offering high quality translation at competitive rates and a friendly, efficient service. For well over decade we have been serving the needs of clients locally, nationally and internationally. We handle all known languages, both into and out of English, for all types of texts.
