Gary realises that using his Birds of Prey as a solution to pest control is not the only solution to this universal problem, and so he is also a fully-experienced pest controller using a variety of methods from ferreting to shooting and gassing where the conditions allow. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic and approachable, there is little Gary doesn't know about his chosen area of business and he is keen to pass on this knowledge to fellow enthusiasts. Although a very young company, Baywings has already established itself as a leading provider of Bird Experience Days as well as being part of the high-demand pest and vermin control industry. Gary's philosophy is that his Birds are encouraged to develop their natural hunting instincts in an environment that mimics nature as closely as possible, and as 'working' Birds they have a balanced and even temperament, which is reflected in their superb handling attributes.
Even though Gary is a fully qualified building craftsman, his passion lay with his beloved birds and in 2009 that he used his enthusiasm and knowledge to create a business that would fulfil his lifelong ambitions and also give him the opportunity to introduce a wider audience to fascinating and rewarding arena of Bird Handling, as well as providing an ecologically sound business service to clients who need a more environmentally friendly way of pest control.
