My passion for beauty therapy started 20 years ago when I trained at Champneys College of Health and Beauty. My career started with 6 years working as a therapist on cruise ships, leading on to involvement in the development and management of Serenity Spa at Seaham Hall Hotel, then expanding my knowledge and experience of beauty products through working for Elemis. This finally led me to fulfil my lifelong dream of opening my own salon, where I hope to pass on the benefits of these experiences to my clients at the Beauty Lounge. Helen has 20 years experience of working for a major high street hair and beauty company in reception and administration. Having decided on a career change a couple of years ago, she went back to college and gained qualifications in manicures, pedicures and gel nails and spray tanning.
