Bill Whyte started the business in a small shop on Towngate in 1987 and in 2006 moved premises to Kings Court Industrial Estate, off King Street where it is now situated. Bill and family are now all residing in Australia and the business was bought by ourselves in 2014. We are Derek and Judy Leather, RAD Floors Ltd. Derek had worked for Bill as a carpet fitter for 25 years and saw this as an opportunity to give his knees a well-earned rest – though he does still do the odd job when the need arises.
