I have worked with people wanting to understand themselves more or rediscover their creativity, as well as with people suffering high levels of mental distress and experiencing severe limitations on their lives. I taught Attachment Theory to students of psychotherapy at the Bowlby Centre from 2003 to 2007 and served on the Bowlby Centre executive committee as treasurer (2004 to 2010). Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked in a variety of private sector companies and public sector organisations, large and small. I also have experience of voluntary organisations.
I have many years experience as a psychotherapist and counsellor, and in 2001 moved my practice from Berkshire to West Sussex. My experience includes short-term work focused on a specific current issue, more in-depth and wide-ranging medium-term work, and longer-term work arising from complex multiple early traumas or severely disrupted early attachment relationships.
