Your first consultation is a comprehensive full one hour assessment and treatment. This will include a complete medical history, blood pressure screening, full outline of your individual pain relief care plan as well as expert advice and a course of treatment tailored to your individual needs and condition. Typically, fine needles are inserted through the skin and left in position briefly. The number of needles varies but may be as few as two or three. Treatments are usually provided in six consecutive appointments but may be less if your condition responds quickly. Treatment intervals are normally once a week to begin with and then extended to longer intervals as your pain reduces.
