It all started 22 years ago with the goal of serving the restaurant industry in the North West and from our humble beginnings we have developed into a national business that now employs over 100 people. This growth has seen us become one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of desserts and speciality foods in the UK; boasting an extensive range of fresh and frozen foods for our clients and their customers to enjoy. Over the past 2 years we’ve been investing heavily in the business and we now have our own distribution fleet of 27 vehicles with hubs in Manchester and London as well as a 350 pallet cold store in Manchester. Our Manchester base also houses Destiny Foods’ manufacturing facility; which recently achieved Grade A certification by the British Retail Consortium. This follows significant investment that has seen the arrival of a 4000 sq ft extension that includes several new high tech additions from new high and low care lines to ultra sonic cutting facilities. In an economically challenging marketplace this investment is key to our success and underpins our vision of long-term growth. New developments in our equipment and infrastructure make it much easier for us to develop new and innovative products for our customers, manufacture them in our state of the art facilities and distribute them nationally on our own vehicles. Regional businesses simply cannot compete with this level of integration and it gives us a clear advantage over many of our competitors. We are able to offer continuity and quality without all the stresses of using a third party distribution network.
