The club was run by players and ex players this accounts for the impressive number of teams we run, and the friendly social atmosphere within the club. ​ In 2000 Andy Pallett bought the club with the vision of extending the club to incorporate fitness. The extension was built at the start of 2008 with the gym opening in October 2008. The club is based in Nuneaton and is open to squash players of all ages and abilities, new members are always welcome.
Cleaver Squash was established in 1978 and was originally a two court Club which used the Rugby Clubs changing rooms and bar facilities next door. As the game grew in popularity there was a need for a further two courts to be built and with this came new changing rooms and bar facility and its own independence.
