I specialise in scientific translation, in particular in the life sciences (biology, genetics, agriculture, sustainability, psychology) and physical sciences (physics, astronomy, space science). I also have experience in business and marketing. My subject expertise has been built through years of study and relevant work experience. For the past two years I have helped global agribusinesses with their translation and language needs, translating marketing materials and business correspondence originally written in Spanish or French, creating summary translations of journal and magazine articles, as well as transcreation and editing of marketing materials. I have built up subject expertise in animal health, nutrition and hygiene, artificial reproduction, and genetics and genomics. I am also very interested in Sustainability and I am developing subject expertise in this area — I have read widely on the subject of Sustainable Agriculture and I recently completed a Future Learn online course on Africa: Sustainable Development for all?”.

I am a professional freelance translator, member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, offering translation from French to English and Spanish to English, including Australian NAATI certified translations. Rates depend on the format, type and complexity of the text to be translated.
