Mr Ferrier founded our company under the name of John Ferrier Optometrist in Kinross and Lochee in 1988. Four years later, John Ferrier Jr and Charles MacKinnon qualified as optometrists and Ferrier & MacKinnon was born. Initially we had three practices in Lochee, Kinross and Burntisland. The Dunfermline practice opened in 1996 when Colin Ferrier joined the company. More recently, we have acquired practices in Newport-on-Tay, Cowdenbeath and Inverkeithing. We are proud to be a locally-owned and family operated business, serving our communities with honest, personal advice and care.
