I launched GARDEN DEVELOPMENT in 2000 after training in horticulture, construction, garden design and landscape design, culminating in a BA (Honours) degree from the University of Gloucestershire. This very focused study has provided me with a wide ranging knowledge in horticulture, including garden design, history, surveying, construction, garden maintenance, and plant and soil science. Hands on experience has been gained not only from design work but also from work in garden centres, private gardens and, of course, my own garden, which is a never-ending project!
