I work as a freelance designer, trainer and University lecturer. I even squeezed in a two year stint as a postgrad student not so long ago (which I loved). Delivering a talk and exhibiting at a fashion symposium in Soho, London. I was on the programme after the fashion broadcaster Caryn Franklin. She being one of my formative influencers, it was great to hear her feedback on my research and work. Priceless! Training delivered for Bershka’s international visual merchandisers at Inditex head office in Tordera, Spain. Quite a long ‘commute’ but a real change of scene (on a February day). Interior design theory training day for Harrods’ homeware personal shoppers at Central Saint Martins. High calibre client, high level theory requested. A delight to be asked and to be able to repeat this in 2017. Here my MA paid off and it was a delight to feed that back to my own postgraduate tutors.

From being an art and design student for four years, to designing print graphics, dressing windows, working on store refit teams and designing showhomes, the work I did for large companies for 10 years enabled me to set up and work as a consultant and freelance designer in 2003.
