Bobby and Preet are the co-founders of Happy Lets and opened their first letting agency in June 2005 as fresh graduates of Glasgow University. To expand at a faster pace they acquired The Letting Store in Hamilton and rebranded both offices to create a unified brand that sent a clear message about what was at the heart of the company; Happy Landlords and Happy Tenants. They quickly outgrew their offices at Cadzow Street in Hamilton and moved a few doors down to number 56, a more prominent position on the street. In 2009 they were crowned ‘Young Entrepreneurs of the Year‘ at the Scottish Asian Business Awards and over the next 2 years they continued to grow the business and acquired another letting agency in Glasgow South Side. Around the same time they also expanded as a family having welcomed a new addition to the family, a baby girl just 2 weeks after the purchase was completed!
Between them, they had the passion and experience in the property market, a degree in Business Management and a genuine desire to be the best in the business. They started off managing a small portfolio of residential properties as a wee team of 2 in a small office at 1313 (they weren’t superstitious) Argyle Street in the West End of Glasgow and over the next 3 years the team and the management portfolio grew to become one of the most successful letting agencies in the city.
