In 1984 I was running a physiotherapy practice and health club at the Hilton Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya. It was at this point in my career that I realized how important an holistic approach is to health. I started to concentrate on people’s nutritional status, emotional well-being as well as their physical fitness. My own spiritual awareness began in earnest about twenty five years ago leading me to the realization that we are Spirit having a human existence: we are energy, a specific frequency of vibration, in a huge field of energy. I approach the individual’s state of dis-ease or disharmony from this energetic point of view.
All my working life I have been involved with health and healing. I qualified as a physiotherapist in 1977 and worked extensively in the NHS and the private sector in London covering a variety of disciplines: rheumatology, orthopaedics, general medical and surgical, cardio-thoracic, intensive care and musculoskeletal outpatient work. My work in the private sector included a time with British Petroleum, working with employees to optimize their working environment thus reducing musculoskeletal stress.
