If you’re wondering why I’m called Hans, well… my father was Scottish; born in Kilmarnock and my mother was born in Berlin (she named me after my uncle!) I was born on the lovely Island of Cyprus in 1962 and brought up in Tranent, East Lothian, just on the outskirts of the beautiful city of Edinburgh. Most of my friends tend to call me: The Big German, Cypriot Jock! But don’t worry, I don’t get offended too easy!
