As the company grew Mr Irving moved to Jesmond Street and acted with great inspiration for the people of Carlisle when he started his own day trips. Operating a fleet of 16, 49, 53 & 57 seater coaches and a city centre travel shop. Irving’s Coaches have a huge number of day trips to choose from. Many of our trips are during school holidays so are a great way to have a day out with the family. Many of our trips are discounted attractions too, giving you an added incentive to book a day trip with us. Be sure to book early though to avoid disappointment.
Family run Irving’s Coach Hire was established back in 1965 by the late Mr Irving. The company started as Irving’s Minibus hire in Canal yard in Carlisle and then gradually expanded over 50 years to the successful business that it is today.
