We have a specialist interest in the function of the nervous system but when we assess our patients we take their entire physical, emotional and social wellbeing into account. We use a range of techniques to reduce pain, improve function and increase mobility, with an emphasis on hands-on adjustment of the musculoskeletal system. We also offer advice on diet, exercise and lifestyle, and rehabilitation programmes that involve exercises to do in your own time. Chiropractic does not treat or cure any disease or symptom. It is primarily concerned with creating a healthy, balanced state on all levels by helping people return to homœostasis (a state of physiological poise).
