Previously Co-op Eye Care, the practice became a partnership in 1986 when Jane joined. She took over complete ownership in 2001 when it became Jane Barker Opticians. Jane has endeavoured to keep the personal touch, knowing and retaining patients from the very early days such that they have become friends. The practice has continued to develop over the years, keeping up-to-date with new equipment and ideas. In the last 12 months we have had new computer testing equipment and a refit in the front of the practice giving it a new cleaner look. We offer retinal photography and diabetic retinopathy screening under the Cheshire NHS scheme.
