Kingarth Hotel

The Smiddy Bar was opened on 28th July 2001 following an extensive building project to convert the old blacksmith’s barn, which was once run as part of the hotel. The Smiddy Bar now forms the heart of The Kingarth and plays host to everything from pool and darts nights to summertime weddings and al fresco” dining. Dine from our Menu and extensive Specials Board featuring dishes created using the best Scottish and local Bute produce. Our younger guests can enjoy food from our Children’s Menu, concentrating on well-cooked nutritional children’s favourites. Eat drink and even stay for the night in our comfortable and informal setting. With a Function Suite seating up to 80 guests and our Club Lounge for parties of up to 20, we aim to provide facilities for all occasions.
