St Ives Hotel

Dunoon blossomed and became a top holiday destination during the Victorian holiday boom, when paddle steamers brought thousands of visitors from Glasgow to enjoy the stunning scenery and local hospitality. The Waverley, the last working seagoing paddle steamer and one of the world’s greatest historic ships, still calls regularly at Dunoon pier. Dunoon is a maritime gateway to the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. Dreamy sea lochs, hills, forests and glens are full of wildlife and just waiting to be explored. Paddle boarding, kayaking, quad and mountain biking, there is so much to do and explore in this beautiful part of the world. Dunoon is also world-famous for the Cowal Games, the largest and most spectacular highland games in the world. The Games attract thousands of people each August and are a must see!

Are you ready for an unforgettable break, fresh sea air, the most beautiful scenery and hospitality like no other? Then you are most welcome at The St Ives Guest House, in the heart of Dunoon in West Scotland. We are Jon and Katia, the proud owners of The St Ives. We have recently moved to Dunoon from London with our three children to follow our dream of running a B&B. Dreams really do come true!
