LM Baverstock is an independent eyecare practice located in the rural market town of Milnthorpe, near Kendal, South Lakes, Cumbria. Together we carry out private & NHS eye examinations and CL examinations in a thorough & professional manner. We provide comprehensive eye examinations and contact lens examinations for both NHS and private patients. We treat each patient as we would any member of our own family, and look beyond much more than just issuing a pair of spectacles. Following the examination we can, if required, provide quality spectacles, contact lenses, or perhaps offer some of our other services, including OCT. As well as the usual frames, lenses and contact lenses from a range of quality labels such as Rodenstock, we also have the more unusual sunglasses and sports glasses. There is also a choice of products to aid vision and eye comfort.
The practice was established in 1978 by Alan & Linda Baverstock. Alan retired in 2006 and the practice was purchased by Simon & Louise Budd, both local optometrists. Linda continues to work in the practice part-time. We aim to provide a high standard of eye-care, carried out in a professional but friendly, relaxed manner.
