As did Mr Thomas, Mr Saghir and Mr Baz decided to keep the name as it had been known in this area for many years. Mr Thomas felt, after a dedicated service, that it was now time he passed on the enormous responsibility of looking after his Practice to fellow like-minded Optometrists. Mr Saghir and Mr Baz are continuing to build on the vision and values laid by Mr Thomas. There are 3 receptionists: — Adele is our senior receptionist who has worked for Mr Thomas since 1978 (38years), Linda who has been working alongside Mr Thomas since 1989 and Jo is the new girl who started in 2016!

Mr Thomas joined an old established practice in Redditch in 1978, called Hopkins & Lees which had been around since the 1940’s. He became a partner a year later, hence the name change to Lees & Thomas, and within a couple more years Mr Lees had retired and Mr Thomas became the sole owner up until mid-2016 when he sold the Practice to two experienced Optometrists, Mr Sanghir and Mr Baz.
