We are a family run building contracting company which began as Len Smith Builders in 1971, becoming Len Smith & Son Building Contractors Ltd in 2008. We employ our own bricklayers/stonemason, joiners/carpenters, plasterers, roofers, machine operators & ground workers. Many of whom have been with us for over 15 years, some over 25 years. We feel we are able to offer a personal service to our customers which larger firms cannot achieve, combined with the experience and knowledge gained from our larger contracts and many years in the trade.
We undertake a wide variety of jobs from general maintenance through to main contractors on over one million pound developments, in both the industrial and domestic sectors. Two of our recent contracts have earned awards for the developers, one a renovation of an old hotel into apartments and the other a new build.
