The practice was founded in 1937 by Sian’s grandmother Miriam Russell Carrington Searle who was later joined by her grandfather and her mother. Now 79 years later Sian continues with the same professional care and personal service. NHS and private eye examinations are available most days of the week and appointments are not always necessary. Sian is also qualified to carryout specialist Low Vision consultations. For those patients who need further care and investigation, Sian is qualified to perform the Welsh Eye Care Services (WECS) examinations and under the ‘Acute Referral Scheme’ indepth assessments of patients with acute eye concerns.
