I have also qualified for Hopi Ear Candling (known as Thermo Auricular Therapy), Reiki Levels 1 and 2, LaStone Therapy, Level 4 Sports Massage Therapy, Massage in Schools Programme Instructor and IMPACT Wellbeing Programme Instructor. I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and the Massage in Schools Association (MISA). I am fully qualified and insured for all the treatments I provide. I am a qualified teacher with a QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills) status. This enables me to teach my specialist subject in secondary and further educational establishments. During the period of 2006 — 2012 I taught Complementary Therapies at Petroc (formerly East Devon College) in Tiverton. I am also an STA (Swimming Teachers Association) Level 2 Qualified Swimming Teacher.
My interest in Complementary Therapies came following receiving massage treatments from a friend. The benefits I experienced from the treatments gave me the incentive to return to college to study, to enable me to treat and relay the benefits onto others. In 2005 I completed my training at East Devon College receiving a VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Therapies.
