Dr. Smith BSc DOptom DipTp(IP)Prof Cert Glauc MCOptom is highly qualified including a professional doctorate in Optometry (obtained in 2014) . He is one of only a handful of optometrists to achieve this highest level professional qualification. The doctoral research was focused on Cataract and macular degeneration and was achieved whilst working in practice and many of our patients were involved in this vital research. He is also a glaucoma specialist and independent presciber.
