Richard’s career into physiotherapy soon began in 1998 after having had a professional football career with Huddersfield Town AFC cut short due to a serious knee injury. Since graduating, Richard has worked in varied clincal settings within the NHS and private practice specialising in musculoskeletal injuries. He developed a particular interest of sporting injuries whilst working for Sheffield Wednesday Football Club before working extensively across Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust and private practice. Completion of a Post Graduate Certificate at The University of Bradford in 2010 has led his further interest in the assessment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal shoulder pain and spinal conditions.
Richard graduated from The University of Salford in 2002 with an honours degree in Physiotherapy and in 2010 gained a Post Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Practice from The University of Bradford.
