The idea for Monarch Pest Control was first conceived in the early 1980’s when I joined Rentokil Pest Control as a serviceman as we were known in those days. I worked through the ranks at Rentokil and finished my time there as a service manager. Eventually I decided to retire early with a view to starting my own pest control company. With the vast experience I had in pest control, it would not have been difficult for me to work for myself in the industry; the only snag was that I didn’t know how to run a business. When I left Rentokil, I joined an ex-colleague in his small business which is also a pest control company, we then set up a joint venture in pest control and I have been learning the business side of the pest control industry ever since. Much thanks to my ex-colleague. We have now decided to set up as Monarch Pest Control Services. Our head office is based Bedfordshire. We travel to London every day in our quest for pests. We have a small office in East London, and one in West London. This means that we can effectively cover the area from Bedfordshire down to London, and across from the west side of London to the east side and down as far as the river Thames. We can also provide pest control services in areas south of the river within the London postcodes. We also offer service within all of the IG postcodes, e.g. Ilford, Chigwell, Loughton, and Barking, EN postcodes e.g. Enfield, WD postcodes, e.g. Watford, AL postcodes, e.g. St Albans and LU postcodes e.g. Luton and Dunstable.
