In 2007, I made the move to set up my own practice Oscroft & Co Limited and the rest as they say is history… I offer professional, friendly and flexible accountancy and taxation related services. Appointments are arranged at your business premises or home and can be during the day or the evening, whichever is best for you. Fees are agreed with you in advance; depending on the services you require and the anticipated time involved. Payment of fees can be at the conclusion of the work or in installments at regular intervals if preferred. I offer a personal service; I am the person who completes the work as well as your point of contact. I think it’s very important that you understand what the numbers mean in regards to your business and will always spend the time explaining the accounts to you, not using “accounting jargon”.

I qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young LLP in Birmingham, where my chosen field was auditing. I preferred the actual preparation of accounts and tax returns rather than the auditing of them and decided to move to a firm based in Wolverhampton, who specialized in small business accounting.
