R. Ingram Coins

R. Ingram Coins are a partnership of Michael and Rendel Ingram; many other people work with us and for us, but we are the only 2 full timers. The business began dealing in coins in 1997. We are based in Southampton on the south coast of England, which is part of the UK. We are a primarily a postal business, but are happy to see people, and do so on a daily basis. We see people on weekday between 10am & 4pm; by appointment only please. Our first catalogue was issued in 1997 and was a very modest affair; since then we have developed and grown. We made it to catalogue 100 in 2013. This catalogue had 32 pages, packed with around 6,000 coins. In 2015 we increased to a 40 page magazine, by mid 2018 the cataogue was a 68 page issue, listing over 12,000 coins. In 2019 we have upsized to a 72 page catalogue, which has become an A4 sized booklet, at the request of our customers. This is produced every 2 months. The list contains not only coins; but also banknotes, medals, accessories and a huge range of lots. Our catalogues are posted out every odd month - usually in the first or second week: it is usually put online a few days earlier.

We love Antique coins, and they are a genuine passion of ours. We love selling old coins to coin collectors, and consider ourselves lovers of coins, not just coin dealers. We sell the full range of British coins, not just old coins with high value. Our old coins for sale are mainly old English coins, though we do stock a vast range of Scottish, Irish and world coins as well. We don't just sell old antique coins, we also buy antique coins and are the biggest online dealers in old English coins.
