Insulated roller shutter garage doors combine the convenience of electric operation together with a vertical opening which allows you to park right up to the door and also frees valuable storage space inside the garage. Manufactured from corrosion-resistant aluminium with an insulated core, the external face of the door curtain is then coated with a hard wearing enamel which is available in a selection of colours, including wood grain effects. The guide channels and box are supplied in white or brown as standard, with the option to have them powder coated if required. The main curtain of the door is constructed from 77mm or 55mm profile lath sections, running between the guide channels which incorporate brush seals. The seals help eliminate draughts as well as noise. Operation of the door is via a remote control receiver and hand held transmitters which allow operation from within the safety and comfort of your vehicle. The receiver unit incorporates a courtesy light, push button and a safety photo cell or safety edge.
