REAL Surveys comprises of myself, Daniel Cooper, Chartered Building Surveyor and Sam Moss — assistant surveyor, who has a degree in building surveying and is currently applying to become a member of the RICS. Administration staff complete the team, working from our office in Tunbridge Wells. I studied at Nottingham University and achieved a BSc (Hons) degree in Geography. I worked on a building site, as a labourer, for two years. I then commenced training to become a chartered surveyor via the College of Estate Management. In 1998 I was elected a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). I was recently awarded a distinction for an MSc in Conservation of the Historic Environment. I was awarded the 2012 Purcell Miller Tritton Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in years 1 and 2 of the course. Over recent years we have been undertaking increasing levels of work on listed buildings. I ran two offices of a large independent surveying practice in the South East for nine years and was chairman of the organisation for two years.
Real Surveys are chartered building surveyors based in Tunbridge Wells covering all surrounding areas. Real Surveys was started by Daniel Cooper over 13 years ago. Over that time we have undertaken architectural design, contract administration and have completed well over 1,000 building surveys.
