We are trained in pet first aid for your pets safety. We are both up to date with modern dog training techniques and use only positive reinforcement and kind, ethical methods. Though we may not be intentionally training†your dog your dog is continuously learning from everyone around him or her, that includes your dog walker. Therefore we feel it is incredibly important that we use scientifically proven methods and never use aversive or punishing techniques, this will give your dog confidence in us and help them to enjoy their walks, feeling safe in our care! Also we both have a fascination in dog behaviour and body language, by being able to read dogs language we can recognize when they’re feeling anxious or stressed and can take action to calm them. We can also read unknown dogs who may approach on walks, we can assess what their intentions are towards your dog, whether they are being polite in dog terms or if they need to be avoided. Your dogs will be transported in our air conditioned Citreon Berlingo which is set up with six crates so that each dog has it’s own space to feel safe and secure. The area is lined with rubber matting and each crate has thick memory foam beds in waterproof wipe clean covers so that no matter how mucky they get on their walks the next dog to travel will have a clean dry place to sit in the car! We never travel dogs on the front seat or loose as is the law. We both have clean drivers licenses and are fully insured for business use.
