Smiths Fire was started in 1977 by Jack Smith, who left the local Fire Service and was soon joined by his son Richard. In 1980, John Royles joined the company and both Richard and John play important roles within the Smiths leadership team today. Smiths remains very much a family business, as Richard and John have both recently introduced their daughters into the organisation. Our experience combined with British Standards and NICEIC electrical standards allows us to offer a comprehensive mix of fire protection services to clients ranging from corner shops, royal households to multi-national companies.
