Sophie’s early professional experience focused on using psychological principles as part of a multi-disciplinary approach to tackling obesity. This involved shadowing bariatric services within the NHS and working as a behavioural consultant with overweight adolescents at a residential facility. Sophie now runs her own Sport and Exercise Psychology Consultancy based in Virginia Water, Surrey whilst working towards her British Psychological Society chartered status and registration with the HCPC. This involves travel across London and the South of England delivering psychological support to individuals and teams across a wide range of ages, levels and sports. Some such sports include swimming, martial arts, running, golf, equestrian, football and rugby. Sophie’s personal sporting interests span from winter sports to hockey, tennis and running.

Sophie’s interest in Sport & Exercise psychology began at an early age. This led to her graduating with First Class Honours majoring in Psychology at the University of East London; in the heart of the Olympic borough. Following this, Sophie went on to complete her Masters in Sport and Exercise Psychology at the University of Chichester.
