Since then I have been attuned to Reiki Mastership level in the Usui system of natural healing, and have qualified in Indian Head Massage, Swedish Body Massage, Facial Massage, Seated Acupressure/Chair Massage. Throughout the natural progression of my career, I have worked with a diverse client group spanning all ages and professions, including doctors, nurses, therapists and teachers, also adults and children with special needs or disabilities. As a member of the Association of Reflexologists, continued professional development is a prerequisite, and on a personal level I feel it is important to engage in lifelong learning to expand upon my knowledge and skills, while keeping up to date with the latest developments in holistic healthcare. I have practiced yoga and meditation/mindfulness for many years, and passionately believe that we need to nurture ourselves, taking care of mind, body and spirit, in order to maintain balance and harmony within our lives. In addition to offering individual treatments, I teach mindfulness/meditation, Reiki with attunement at levels I, 2 & 3 and various holistic workshops.
After qualifying as a Hypnotherapist with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis in 1993, I worked for a number of years within stress management and behaviour modification. Later during my role as Senior Instructor for the Kent Autistic Trust, I qualified as a Reflexologist with the International Federation of Reflexologists in 1997.
