Four years later in 2009 Specsxpress opened its second store on the Main Street in Newcastle County Down. Both stores are run by local opticians Matthew Higgins in the Downpatrick store and Declan King in the Newcastle store ably assisted by manager Elaine McAuley, Optical assistants Anna Venney and Chris Murray.
