‘Born’ in 1995, Tavcom Training was created to address a real gap in the security industry. Providing credible and practical training courses to those ‘on the tools’, Tavcom quickly developed a reputation as the place to go for all technical security training. With the growth in manufacturers of security technology in the late 90’s, including CCTV, access control, alarms, and IP networking, there was a real need for training not just for the kit itself, but for the management, installation and design of such systems. Tavcom’s training is vendor-agnostic, teaching the core technical concepts rather than to benchmark one manufacturer against another. It is this focus that makes our training unique — we want each learner to be able to apply their knowledge to any technology.
