Built in 1905 as a guest house by a local blacksmith and run lovingly by that same family for over 80 years, the guest house has only changed hands a few times since then always with the same love, care and attention. Until later years when it became a little neglected, then in 1985 John and Doreen Lamont bought it over and and restored it to its former glory. We (Liz and Ian) have now taken over and take great pleasure in keeping up the previous standards and modernising subtly.
