Highcliffe was borne out of Rob Mably’s love for Cornwall and his childhood in Polzeath. His dream is for Highcliffe guests to appreciate the heritage of this special place, as penned by the poet John Betjeman who lived in Daymer Lane, and enjoyed by families who have returned here for generations. Rob’s team are all local and love the area as much as the regular visitors who come back to Highcliffe year after year. Rob is the creator & owner of Highcliffe. You can sometimes find him surveying the grounds or up a ladder with a paintbrush (when he's not out sailing, of course). Katrina runs the office & makes sure your holiday runs smoothly. Using her organisational skills, she also coordinates the local Brownies Pack.
Highcliffe is a collection of privately owned self-catering holiday cottages, nestled between Polzeath and Daymer Bay on Cornwall’s stunning north coast. Our cottages are the perfect base to explore this unique and beautiful haven all year round — think sun, sea and surf in the summer and brisk walks on deserted beaches in the winter, with cream teas or hot toddies in front of a log-burning stove.
