The Learning Community is a training provider that specialises in training and development for people of all ages across South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. The Learning Community is located On Dinnington High Street, 2 minutes walk from the bus station, easily accessible from Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield and Worksop. Our services range from providing Information, Advice and Guidance on Learning, Jobs and Career Development to delivering accountancy and Employability Programmes. We also deliver IT and Digital Inclusion Courses and are a UK Online Centre. The Learning Community seeks to improve the lives and the skills of local people and their communities, by giving them the Passion to Progress. Simon Pugh set up the company in 2003 as a not-for-profit organisation Limited by Guarantee, at the time there were few of these around, and it could have been tricky convincing some funders of the company’s credentials.
