Complementary health, by definition, is something which 'works well with' - either conventional medicine or another therapy or just your own will power, enabling you to have more help and control over any aspect of your health and well-being both physical and emotional. It's over-riding aim is 'do no harm'. Alternative therapy health practitioners are usually qualified to diagnose health problems as well as treat them.
